Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the TheNext.Place website (thenext.place), web app (app.thenext.place) and mobile apps (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.

1. The Service

TheNext.Place is a social travel platform that lets you discover and create travel routes, set up Instant Plans with friends, see nearby travellers by approximate location with Free Roam, and browse and book stays along routes.

2. Account

• You must be over 18 to use the Service.
• You can sign up with email or your Google account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure.
• You can delete your account from the app at any time.

3. User content and rules of conduct

You are responsible for the routes, plans, messages, comments and images you share. You give us a non-exclusive, free licence to show this content within the Service. The following are prohibited:

• Sharing unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene or misleading content;
• Sharing other people's personal data or location without permission, or following or harassing users;
• Fake accounts, spam, automated data collection or attempts to compromise the security of the Service.

We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or close accounts. You can report inappropriate content and users in the app or by email.

4. Free Roam and meetups

In Free Roam your location is shown only when you start it, and only to an accuracy of about ~1 km. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting other users in person; we recommend busy public places for first meetings. TheNext.Place does not guarantee users' behaviour.

5. Stays and reservations

Property details, prices and availability are provided by the properties. The booking contract is between you and the property; cancellation and refund terms follow the property policies shown during booking. Properties marked as "featured" may be paid promotions.

6. Intellectual property

The TheNext.Place name, logo, design and software belong to us and may not be copied or used without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will run without interruption or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user content, the services of third-party properties or indirect damages.

8. Personal data

Your personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy and the KVKK Information Notice.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will announce important changes in advance. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts have jurisdiction over consumer matters.
